Supported Accommodation Assistance Program
Lindy Davis is the Case Worker for the Supported Accommodation Assistance Program. Lindy provides personalised support to clients through face-to-face meetings and phone consultations. She works closely with clients to identify their support options and develop strategies to improve their housing stability. Lindy also conducts regular visits to clients in Crisis Houses to assess their needs, offer guidance, and provide referrals to appropriate services when required.
Sherwin Gimeno is the Program Delivery Worker responsible for the day-to-day management of our crisis homes. Sherwin ensures the properties are safe, well maintained and appropriately resourced to support clients during periods of crisis. He works closely with Lindy to support client transitions, manage property-related issues, and maintain a stable environment conducive to short-term accommodation.
The Supported Accommodation Assistance Program provides assistance to individuals and families who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. The program aims to help clients stabilise their circumstances and secure more permanent housing solutions.
The program offers crisis accommodation for people experiencing homelessness due to personal, financial or social challenges. These crisis houses provide a safe and secure environment where clients receive immediate support while working towards more stable, longer-term housing.
The Supported Accommodation Assistance Program focuses on empowering clients to manage their own circumstances while offering practical support and resources to help them achieve greater independence and long-term housing security.
You can contact Lindy and Sherwin by calling the Neighbourhood Centre on (07) 4654 1307 or via the Contact Us section on the website.
